One observation I’ve made since learning about game is that whole environments can be frame crushing. E.g spending a lot of time in your hometown around family & old friends or spending time in a country with a very strong homogeneous culture e.g Japan. They’re not easy to resist

Ended in abject failure. It's not clear if there's much to learn but my notes: - Besides my notes on her during approach, everything seemed good faith - She replied about 30 minutes between messages but promptly - She showed up on time. I was actually delayed a bit to buy an umbrella (note to self: knock this off, show up early) - She was warm, a kiss on the check to start (she's Brazilian - an important note, while I believe were Daygamers ever to assign achievements akin to military badges, I deserve a Latena Proficiency badge, I am weak in Brazilians. For one, they speak another language, Brazilian or something). - We go to a bar, grab wine. She is laughing at my [bad] jokes - she likes me. - I learn she is a Doctor. On the one hand, I think. Ido well with nerds and the relatively few latina nerds, on the other, I don't think I have a lot of positive experience with doctors... hmm... - I suggest we pop around and try a few places, she looks at her agenda nad says "I need to be home at 11pm but OK", erm. She mentioned she liked beer, I told her I have the best beer in town but it's hard to find, let's go try it. Moment of truth. She is not into it. This says it all. I felt my chances were decent and plummeted here. - I considered gracefully exiting but I've been in a bit of a vibe and date drought, so I figured why not stay out. - Wee go to the next bar and she grabs my arm as if she were a si girl (note: it's now called seagull, get used to it). In my mind: hmm, could this be on? - I get her a big beer. She is a small girl. She thinks nothing of it. OK good sign. - We talk some more, she looks like your standard vivacious latina, but she tells me about... playing video games as a nerdy kid. - Hmm, ok, so she might really appreciate my nerd credentials. I seldom volunteer them -- once in a SDL I still keep in touch with, it came up and seemed to help me. I have nothing else going for me, and it comes up so I volunteer. She lights up. "I had no idea you were smart" (I tell her, I don't know what to make of that) - We make out some. She's into it. OK good. - Did I turn this around? Torero would be proud of using nerd stuff to turn it around. - I had been pushing the adventure frame - she is just visiting, fun to travel solo, you're anonymous... - I suggest going to listen to music "I'd like to stay here". Really not good. - We talk more. More making out. I can tell she likes me - She reveals how happy she was I approached her. She mentioned that she lives in Western Europe -- some Germaic place -- and guys neve approach her. Funny I thought given how my understanding is there are lots of German spammers. She also mentioned Brazilian guys approach her a lot but are also bad partners or something - A moment Krauser would have loved "is it OK if I just say I like white guys?" - Unfortuantely not enough. She wouldn't come bakc. I walkedher back and tried the old "can I use the bathroom". Her agenda just didn't align and unfortunately I didnt' trigger enough "genuine desire" in her. My meek attempts to push credentials and commonality also failed -- it doesn't make any difference with intrinsic desire... not a bad reminder of what I had been convinced of. Still, happy to have had some female attention. My vibe has been dry -- frankly unrelated to Daygame and havign even a morsel of a makeout makes me feel a bit more in the game. 🤞🏼that I can continue ramping into the season

@juliusfishes Honestly I naturally forget rejections in the street. It's just two near misses with girls I was extremely attracted to that haunt me, that I can't forget

@caird_j I guess the thing I could tell myself is each rejection is an at-bat I should be proud of. And one more step toward success. Though good point. (now that I think of it, I have been acknowledging at least one success spot. But I like your particular celebratory style)

Any time I walk past a place where I have a sweet memory of success with a girl, I subtly kiss my fingers, like the first part of blowing a kiss without the blowing bit. It's become a ritual. Happens most often in a park I visit often, where I once fucked a busty Lithuanian
