🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 Hype is not the word! I’m so happy to announce that I just renewed my contract with @fox13seattle for season 2 of Back2Besa. WOOT WOOT! What a blessing it is for my job to be something that I’ve been doing since I started my first blog. And that’s uplifitrng our community and highlighting the dope people, places and things here in the PNW. I think there is something to say about a show like Back2Besa, were all we do is uplift our community, and in doing so, we’ve been able to touch parts of the region that typically might not get the shine it deserves. Yesterday, the Back2Besa family pulled up to the Black Media Matters Studio to celebrate Back2Besa going into a second season. In the room, we had Amber Eikel (FOX 13 General Manager) Erik Kalligraphy (Back2Bea Producer), Susan Fried and Jordan Somers (Back2Besa photographers,) Debrena Jackson Gandy (Back2Besa Love and Relationship Coach,) Akia Ronai (my stylist), LexScope (Back2Besa Producer), Trae Holiday and Deaunte Damper (Back2Besa Guest hosts), and ProofNThePlay (Back2Besa Producer.) Unfortunately everyone wasn’t able to join us yesterday because they were on other shoots, so big shoutout to Winfield Ezell, Francisco Lopez, Mat Bermudez, William Davis, Adrian Sims, and Levoy Cooks, TDub, and Curtis Delgardo the II. And I can’t express my gratitude enough to YOU the viewer, because without you all, we shouldn’t have a show. You’re support is felt in more ways than you know. For season two, we are going to continue uplifting the PNW, and shining a light on Black people in our region, while showing what they are doing to make a difference. And just like in the first season, there will definitely be some traveling. Season two of Back 2 Besa start September 7, 2025, so be sure to tell all of your friends that I am coming back and I can’t wait to tell you all what I’ve been up to. But until then, have an amazing rest of your day, and of course, keep that energy high.
