In an interview with @AJEnglish, I argued that the attack on Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), institution that serves as a centre for the country’s R&D of indigenous industrial development, is rooted in the fact that Iran wages its defense against US imperial aggression and Israeli colonial domination precisely through relaying on its homegrown industries. Indeed, they represent the sole material force capable of imposing tangible costs on the empire. I further note that, in contrast to US and Israeli forces, Iran has demonstrated a good-faith effort/issued advance notice prior to any potential operation, an act indicative of an absence of intent to target civilians. Additionally, any form of assistance to US military operations by any university, including contractual relationships with the Department of Defense or the Pentagon, logistical support, intelligence sharing, or any material aid facilitating US aggression, may, in Iran's view, render such entities or objects liable to lawful targeting, subject to the customary principles of proportionality and military necessity.

First deputy head of State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine, who banned my book, heads far-right OUN-M whcih was involved in SS Galicia Division creation. My house, land & all other property in Western Ukraine were seized & I was blacklisted by Myrotvorets hit list earlier in retaliation for my academic studies of Maidan massacre, involvement of OUN & other radical nationalist & neo-Nazi organizations in mass murders, & exposure of SS Galicia Division veteran on Twitter/X & in Western media. My academic press book & 4 peer-reviewed journal articles show overwhelming evidence of involvement of neo-Nazi & radical nationalist elements of Maidan opposition in false-flag Maidan massacre of protesters & police. Such evidence includes hundreds of videos, testimonies of absolute majority of wounded Maidan protesters for trial & investigation in Ukraine, 14 self-admitted Maidan snipers & over 500 witnesses, forensic ballistic & medical examinations by Ukrainian governments experts & even 2 verdicts of Ukrainian courts which confirmed major findings of my academic studies of this crucial massacre. State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine calls this "spreading propaganda myths about "neo-Nazism" and "civil war"" & promoting "conspiracy theory that the shootings on Maidan were organized by the opposition itself." It falsely labels my book, which is published by major Western academic press, "Russian." It's revealing that "Ministry of Truth" propaganda peddlers resort to such methods and fakes in response to my peer-reviewed book. They equate neo-Nazis & Nazi collaborators, who were involved in mass murders, with Ukraine. State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine threatens Ukrainians, in particular me, and Ukrainian organizations with criminal prosecution for "dissemination" in Ukraine of my book & other 648 banned books under the following Criminal Code of Ukraine articles: “109 (Actions aimed at forcible change or overthrow of the constitutional order or at the seizure of state power), 110 (Encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine), 161 (Violation of the equality of citizens depending on their racial, national, regional affiliation, religious beliefs, disability and on other grounds), 300 (Import, production or distribution of works that promote the cult of violence and cruelty, racial, national or religious intolerance and discrimination), 436 (Propaganda of war), 436-1 (Production, distribution of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes), 436-2 (Justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against of Ukraine, glorification of its participants)." This is open whitewashing of mass murderers & neo-Nazis and political persecution, political censorship & attack on academic freedom by Zelensky government agency, which is headed by leader of far-right OUN & whose salaries are paid by Western taxpayers, including myself. State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine using similar false claims & criminal persecution threats previously banned books by such noted Western authors as Antony Beevor ("Stalingrad"), Jacques Baud ("Operation Z") and Mungo Melvin ("Sevastopol’s Wars: Crimea from Potemkin to Putin"). Will there be any reaction by Western governments, academia & media to such open political censorship, political persecution & blatant attack on academic freedom?

Canada has blocked European MP @RimaHas from entering the country. Rima was slated to speak at events on the topic of Palestinian freedom, including one in Montreal with me and others this Monday. Her visa was approved until the last moment, when it was suddenly revoked. By contrast, Israeli officials complicit in the Gaza genocide and related crimes have had no problems visiting Canada. The anti-Palestinian hate group @bnaibrithcanada lobbied against her visit and his now taking credit for her denial. Solidarity with Rima Has, who I know won't be deterred by this blatant act of political censorship, and shame on the Canadian government for caving yet again to anti-Palestinian bigotry.
