Chathanoor is a safe seat for BJP this time because: 1)All 3 candidate are E thus eliminating caste friction and USHV behind BJP. 2)Candidate has good reputation and personal vote 3)decent cong candidate and trend means minority vote heavily splitting 4) 75%+H,50%+ E+N seat

What does it really mean to stay committed to your craft… when everything around you is designed to break you? There is something deeply inspiring about watching @PrannoyRoy7749 today. A man who helped shape modern Indian television news, who co founded NDTV, who brought credibility, data driven election analysis, and intellectual depth into our living rooms, now travelling across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, recording interviews on his own mobile phone for his digital channel Dekoder. No studio lights. No prime time debates. No corporate backing. Just a man, a phone, and an undying commitment to journalism. If passion ever needed a face, it would look like Prannoy Roy. But his legacy is not just what he built. It is also, who he built. NDTV, at its peak, was not just a news channel. It was a school. A culture. A standard. He mentored a generation of journalists and introduced them to a simple but powerful idea, journalism without fear or favour. Many carried that torch forward. Some did not. But the ecosystem he created shaped Indian media in ways we often forget. And let us be honest, Prannoy Roy did not lose NDTV. India lost Prannoy Roy’s NDTV. At a time when narratives were convenient and pressures were real, he and his organisation faced investigations, raids, and relentless scrutiny. Yet, through all of it, there was one thing they did not do. They did not bend. Not once did they turn into cheerleaders for power. Not once did they barter credibility for comfort. Not once did they dilute their editorial spine to survive. That is not just journalism. That is character. … And maybe that is exactly what journalism still needs.

Here is the producer of Kerala Story thanking RSS: 'We would not have been able to make Kerala Story if we had not received guidance & support from RSS. The RSS was our guardian angel" Yet as per some people, Kerala Story was not a propaganda movie & had no political angle

Anybody from a southern state but supporting the BJP regime just to please their northern masters is a traitor to their own states. They can’t be trusted and the people should boot the ilks of him.

A mob of over 200 Anti-Christian fanatics attacked and threatened a family of 8 in Bijapur District, Chhattisgarh. Demanding “Ghar Wapasi” (forced reconversion to their former faith). For past two years, this family has endured persistent harassment for their faith in Christ.

@realRick_AUS @oz_farmer Based on reports, Australia has a significantly higher reported rape rate (roughly 18–101 per 100k) compared to India (around 4.9 /100k)this data is heavily influenced by lower under-reporting in Australia and broader definitions, vs India.

@SaffronChargers Dr. Pronnoy Roy is the epitome of journalism. The fact that he is doing ground reporting at 76 is proof of that. Once a journalist, always a journalist. RESPECT! (Don't forget he was forced to sell NDTV to Adani because of a fake case of money laundering. )

Prannoy Roy was once the face of left-leaning media. He owned NDTV, and many leftist journalists used to follow him and treat him like a leader. Then his bad time came, and he had to sell NDTV. Now, at the age of 76, he is doing ground reporting alone with just a mic and a mobile in his hand - what a situation he has come to. Where are the leftists for whom Prannoy Roy raised his voice his entire life? Why does he still have to do journalism even at this age?

@SaffronChargers This is a snake waiting to pounce. I will never believe him. He’s not doing anybody a favor by doing this. It should not be made a big thing. There are many others who are working harder at this age. I will never give credit to him. Giving him coverage itself is a problem.

@ByRakeshSimha Not true, because 1)The Quilon (Tarisapalli) copper plates of 849 AD indicate that the Syrian Christians held a very high social status in medieval Kerala. The 72 privilages, typically reserved for aristocracy will never confer on a Ezava or Pulaya convert group.

Myth of the Syrian Christian's Namboodiri Brahmin Ancestor Over 99% of Syrian Christians are converts from Ezhavas and Pulayas. Only 1% are direct descendants of the original Syrian Christian refugees from Syria. They arrived in the 4th century CE after being expelled by the Zoroastrian emperor of Persia, Shapur I, who was aghast by their betrayal of their country. These newly converted Christians were siding with the Roman Empire in the war with Persia. Shapur I gave them two options. One, revert immediately to Zoroastrianism. Two, leave Syria within a week. Some set sail and landed in Kerala. They remained in Kerala for centuries without much trouble. The Hindu kings gave them land and grants and they lived amicably with other communities. But they sided with the Portuguese when the Portuguese invaded in the 16th century. Once they became part of the Roman Catholic fold, the Syrian Christians became a proselytising group. They originally targetted the lowest castes, mainly Pulayas. Professor SN Sadasivan has shown with extensive citations in his book, A Social History of Kerala, how the Syrian Christian population increased in direct proportion to the decrease in the Pulaya population. When the British annexed Kerala, the regent Col Munro was shocked at the downgraded economic and soicial status of the Syrian Christians. He forced the Hindu rulers to provide them vast tracts of temple lands and money too. Once the Syrian Christians became wealthy under the British and were given de facto upper caste status by the Kerala kings, they wanted to rise in the social hierarchy. For this they had to hide their lower caste origins. So they cooked up the Namboodiri ancestor hoax. Today, even poor Syrian Christians claim a Namboodiri ancestor. They will casually drop a line, saying: "There is a poor Namboodiri who lives in our village. He visits us and we give him food and some pocket money." In reality, that guy may not even be a Namboodiri but a con artist who has tapped into the Syrian Christians' desire to have a Namboodiri ancestor. He must be visiting hundreds of Syrian Christian families in the district, pocketing thousands of rupees per month. The Namboodiri is a Tamil Brahmin immigrant who came as a refugee from Tamil Nadu during the 100 year Chera Chola War in the 8th to 9th century. They were a tiny minority always. The word Namboodiri comes from the Tamil word Nambu - trust. During the Chera Chola, when there was widespread destruction and violence, the people of Kerala entrusted their temples and estates to the Brahmin refugees from Tamil Nadu for safeguarding. However after the war ended, the trusted Namboodiri Brahmins became the de facto owners. They became wealthy, powerful and highly privileged. So they had zero incentive to convert to Christianity. A few years ago I got a DNA test done. The test revealed that I had 87% South Indian DNA and 13% North Indian DNA. But here's the interesting part. Once you get your DNA test done, they start matching you to your distant cousins. Once the third and fourth cousins list is exhausted, they start showing you your next closest relatives - and 80% are, surprise, achaayanmaars - rubber estate owners in Pala, Kottayam and beyond! So you have Benny Thomas, Sandeep Matthews and Thomas Varkey all related to me by DNA. Hundreds of them. MS Mani, the owner of Kerala Kaumadi, had told my family that around 30% of the Ezhavas of Travancore had converted in the 1880s because of legislation passed by the Travancore king's stupid casteist advisors to deliberately humiliate Ezhavas. Unfortunately for the Ezhavas, those who converted were the aristocrats, which left the community rudderless for decades. On the other hand, the Syrian Christians gained immensely from this transfer. Today, the Christian descendants of those aristocratic Ezhava converts are the brains (Deep State) of the Syrian Christian community, and the top claimants to Namboodiri DNA.

Pope Leo XIV drew attention to Catholics who were killed by Muslims in Algeria while he visited the country this evening The pope mentioned Saint Charles de Foucauld and the 19 martyrs of Algeria, all of whom were killed for their faith: 'In the face of hatred and violence, they remained faithful to charity even to the point of sacrificing themselves alongside many other men and women'
