Sorry to repeat myself, but you *really* need to know this. Under the government's Public Order Bill, anyone who has protested in the previous 5 years can be forced to "submit to ... being fitted with, or the installation of, any necessary apparatus" to monitor your movements.

Energy bills are up 3% in France, 30% in Germany and 300% in the UK - other government’s have a grip of this. And the EU has a plan to reduce energy use by 15% - while we have minsters saying it’s an individual choice….doing less than nothing.

The UK is addicted to gas with 85% using it for heating. We also have least energy efficient housing stock in Western Europe. The mix makes us uniquely exposed to this gas price crisis. This graphic from Tado is still shocking - with heat loss from U.K. homes 3 X that of Germany

I see that #dontpayuk is trending on Twitter. Energy bills 100% need to come down, but non-payment of bills targets the wrong companies: it’s like shoplifting your entire big weekly supermarket shop because their suppliers are price gouging on potatoes. Here’s a thread why: 1)

Tories are arguing that wages must not rise as strongly as prices or we will get an inflationary spiral. But that’s ridiculous. All price increases add to the income of the companies charging them. What the Tories are saying is business should profit, not workers. A thread……
