12-8 am I had entered on the cross Sl❌ Lesson - during the market open 9:30 am candle, I had to wait at least a few minutes -on to the next day

@magicofTrading @Mc5calpAfee - The bearish candle on the 5-minute chart closes outside the range. - Why don't you wait for the next bullish candle to finish closing inside the range? Because I see you enter as soon as it hits the broken level.

Patience pays. Finally, we got an entry on the 12–8 AM Model, and it went straight to TP. A good reminder that waiting for your setup and sticking to your rules is often worth it. @Mc5calpAfee Thank you

@magicofTrading Hi, I see that you and I seem to view the market the same way in terms of strategy; we don't enter without a retest. Unlike @Mc.5scalp, I think he takes entries early. In your case, do you wait for the retest 100% of the time?

6 AM didn't give an entry and went straight to the target, so it's invalid. On to the next one, let's see if the 7 AM model gives us an entry.

@aw_trades_ Hi, that's absolutely true. Do you mean that if your DD is $1000, then you risked a maximum of $100? If that were the case, in assessments like APEX where you have one month to pass, would you have made it in time?

what actually changed wasn't my strategy. it was my risk I stopped sizing off the account and started sizing off the drawdown: 5-10% per trade, MAX boring. repeatable. it's the entire difference between blowing evals and $120k months

@magicofTrading @dom1984 they're hourly ranges seen on the M5 timeframe? I believe. I only have one question left, based on my understanding of the range retest... do you expect a candlestick right at the extreme of the range (whether upper or lower) to show some kind of indecision?

@Mc5calpAfee Question... When you talk about retesting the high or low, do you mean retesting the entire time range? Or retesting the high/low of the candle that closed outside the range?

Thursday high broken close above retest of high for entry. Ran to midpoint point for win and rejected heavy above. Also show 1m here to show it won because on 5 it can look like both win/loss.

Here are last weeks setups for the 6am, 7am and 12-8 setups each one has some minor nuances to them I have found make them more successful. Same concepts as before just a little different. I’ve backtested all of these and forward tested live to improve them for me. 10-1 last week

6am Breakout failure model 1. 1st candle that breaks high/low closes inside range 2. Price retests broken side high/low that’s entry signal 3. Target 50% retrace as tp, stop at a 1.3:1 rr (If price tags 50% before the retest no trade.)

@SSJTRADES Hi, even if it doesn't hit the entry level, are you still entering? The only thing I can think of is that you redraw a Fibonacci retracement of the FVG, and that's where you get the 50%.
