Apologies for the radio silence--we had to take a quick breather and are resuming reviewing submissions this weekend!

Aside from the standard poetry/fiction/nonfiction, what kind of work do you think would most improve lit mags if they started including it?

All, we have been seeing *so much* exciting writing in our inbox lately and we love it! We're forcing ourselves to sit with some of these pieces a bit before making decisions, but we can't wait to start sending out some acceptances soon! Keep it coming!

Hi. Are there any journals accepting blogs/essays? I will send a pitch beforehand and based on that, editors can decide the merit of my piece. I have been writing blogs at my current job but I want to push myself further and try my hands at literary pieces.

@AllisonDeDecker Any and all! We want the writing we get to steer the editorial direction of the magazine, not the other way around. Cards on the table, though, we're biased in favor of the feral, the negatively capable, the duende, the lyric and the occult. Also queer stuff. We <3 queer stuff.
