The site is just static, and doesn't collect any information from anyone. No cookies.

Are there standard "privacy policy" and "terms of use" documents I can use for a website? I could reach out to Textualize's crack team of hotshot lawyers, but I resent paying £££ for a small text file. And I don't trust all these services offering them for "free".

@Sibuna_Switch for dolliv I got a pretty consistent spawn (about 30% of picnics) on its flower spawner in South 6 -- enough that I got a shiny eventually :D

I don't think Dolliv has the same problem. It only spawns in "flower" biome spawners, which are rare compared to other biome types. When every other spawner in game is removed, Dolliv spawns easily. My guess: it's hard to spawn it because of other spawners saturating the field.

Why does wild Hattrem spawn in Kitakami but not in Paldea? Hattrem is a "lake" biome spawn in Paldea, and a "grass" biome spawn in Kitakami. Its eligible "lake" spawners are actually in water in Paldea. When I moved one of its "lake" spawners onto land, it spawned Hattrem!

@codewithanthony @vinitkme @getsentry No idea. I did not set up typing there and only started using it after you started fixing it.

Maybe we are doing typing wrong, and clearly there are a lot of people at @getsentry that love Python typing, but it feels like such a waste of time. I spend this week timing coding vs fixing typing, and at least for my PRs I spent more time on typing than the code :-/

@vinitkme @mitsuhiko @getsentry not sure about the "can't catch locally" part -- I made sure that there's no magic there and `mypy file` just works (Armin: it used to not, maybe you're remembering the old way typing was set up?)

@codewithanthony Do you have proof of the Arctibax? I haven't tried for it but many people keep asking about it, so it would be nice to be able to show them. I've looked at the disassembly but it's not clear how it's picking species or spawners.

@endingwithali you could run a bot which records logs (I use this to power some fun graphs and such for my stream)

i would do a lot of certain kinds of things to be able to command + F the chat log from all of my twitch streams

@mitsuhiko @shakedko I know this post is bait but that's Django's fault (the mypy plugin starts by importing the app) and the mess of star imports (any import is likely to pull in the whole codebase)

@Sibuna_Switch I've been meaning to get into datamining -- any tips for getting access to a disassembly? (perhaps even with some annotations on where to start poking)

@codewithanthony I have my own CFW program to automate this, and it reads from RAM in order to track the exact spawner that activates too. It counts the days skipped and how many were in a batch, so that way I can also track group patterns if any (e.g. I've never seen the same species twice).

@Sibuna_Switch I unfortunately cleared out my screenshots for it but I could do it again. it should be in my vod from around 2023-02-09 but I couldn't find it from a quick scrub. I have the shiny from it but that's not definitive proof
