About 9 months ago, I joined a gym and had my first proper leg day. I started walking on the treadmill, but the trainer told me to run. I said I couldn’t, but he still increased the speed. After that, he made me lie down and lifted my leg straight up for a stretch (almost 90°). It felt fine at the time. We continued the workout, and I went home. That night I had really bad pain and soreness in my legs. I thought it was normal. But even after all this time, I still feel pain when bending, pain while stretching, and sometimes tingling in my legs. I stopped going to the gym because of this. Not blaming anyone, just sharing my experience: be careful and listen to your body.
