@zayz2K imo, someone with vegas/premiere/whatever skills have way more of a swiss army knife skillset compared to someone throwing stuff together in illustrator etc.

@com_maxfps Yeah I feel like id go into video knowing more because ive edited gaming videos in sony vegas since I was 14, but graphic designing seems less intimidating somehow

So for those of you who dont onow ive been working in the marketing field since early september, i want to break into either graphic design or video production but would need to take courses on one or the other. Which should I pursue? Rn i’m leaning towards graphic dzn but 1/2

@zayz2K the bigger bucks in the marketing sphere are in anything data related, but depending on the size of where you're working you may or may not have the scale to justify asking for training on that sort of thing

@zayz2K getting into anything video is probably gonna give you more options down the road, design especially at a corporate level is pretty cookie cutter/copy paste. it's certainly a low bar to meet so there's that
