@konradkokosa I think I feel start to be a real programmer after I read the C++ standard pdf, and boost tell me which one likely to be a talent programmer :)

C++ love - the most of the university was a C++ love time. I was studying ISO standards, learning and doing everything with it. STL and boost were my secondary names 😇

I've started "programming" ~35 years ago by dummy typing Basic programs on Atari 65XL 😱 Here's my short programming story 👇

@konradkokosa GW Basic->Debug.exe->QBasic->PASCAL->C ->HTML/JS/ASP->PHP->C++->VB->JAVA->C#->F#>MATLAB->BASH->Perl->Python->Wolfram->Julia, and the other little part of computer science and programming universes/black hole, the most interesting part maybe so many kind of community and funs!

Obviously, meanwhile I've explored myriads of other ecosystems, including Java, assembly or Python. And that's it. What's yours story? 👀

@konradkokosa .NET & C++ & others for 15 years full time programmers, fall in love with Linux & Network & LLVM&Others, time past so quick!

.NET & C# - as my first job was obviously C++ (computer vision💜)... pretty fast, it turned out there is much more need for C# programming. So, I've started to learn it and I felt in love with it within a few days.

@konradkokosa VC++ 6.0/VB, maybe the best edition and last hero before dotnet new era! MFC/Windows and begin coding more than thousands lines !

@konradkokosa My ACM teacher told me to turn to C with Turbo C after one month of Pascal, and Pascal is really a little verbose! But the inner function is a little confusing and cool!

Turbo Pascal - my first "serious" programming and lessons were larned here. No object-oriented programming yet, but I've learned a lot about algorithms, data structures, computer graphics. That was during high-school. Also playing a lot and learning how to write games.
