So, the 35th anniversary version of the "Welcome to the World of Sonic" book was changed from the 2021 version to completely remove all of Amy's feelings for Sonic 😶.

After seeing How Peach was treated in the Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
I do have those concerns for Amy in Sonic 4.
But I wouldn’t worry about it.
1. Jeff Fowler loves to flesh out each Sonic character with flaws to develop.
2. The casting of Kristen Bell gives out a good sign.

I'm so hyped for Sonic Movie 4, but one thing I hope they don't do to Movie Amy is make her like Movie Peach. Being a strong female isn't just about being good at everything and having no flaws; that's just weak writing disguised as empowerment, which is dumb. #sonic4

I trust him with Amy! And from my little understanding. I think only SEGA Japan can check and change something in the Movies If they don't like and we all know how they keep and push Amy's love for Sonic in Japan even rewriting her story and lines in JP Frontiers and CW
