Starting pitching for @OMAStormChasers has been one of the team's biggest strengths in August.
Omaha's starters have combined for a 2.12 ERA (17 ER in 72.1 IP) over 14 games this month. That's the best in Triple-A (8th in MiLB), as is their 0.98 WHIP (5th in MiLB).

I learned one of my Uncs back in Louisville passed a couple weeks ago.
Death is the most normal thing to happen. I’ve been “at that age” for older loved ones to pass for a while; it’ll only increase over time. But it’ll always be so weird to grapple with.
