Doing a PhD in field where I have no prior experience has required me to become an expert & a scholar simultaneously. This year, I realized I am capable of a lot more than I imagined. Not only do I do it, I do it well. ❤️ Now we rest.

Monica Part 2 really gave us something refreshing… and one of the standout moments has to be the introduction of Joseph Momodu as Neato, Monica’s husband ❤️ This was range. This was growth. This was an actor stepping out of a box many people had already locked him inside. Seeing him as a calm, composed, loving husband felt new, natural, and honestly well-deserved. And that scene where he was quoting the Bible to Monica… that moment was deep. Quiet, grounded, and human. It showed that actors are not limited to one energy. They can carry depth, peace, and emotional balance just as much as intensity. To every upcoming actor, this is a lesson: Don’t allow yourself to be defined by one type of role. Once the industry tags you, that’s all they will keep calling you for. Breaking out takes intention, patience, and the right opportunity. Big credit to Uche Montana for this casting choice. She didn’t just assign a role, she reintroduced an actor. She gave the audience a new perspective, and it worked beautifully. This is Joseph Momodu in a different light… and it looks good on him. Strong. Present. Intentional. Mr & Mrs Neato ❤️ Rate his performance from 1-10. #Monica2
