We usually don't approach with police because officers must Mirandize suspects, who then have a higher chance to invoke their 5th Amendment and stay silent. Civilians don't have to, so they're more likely to talk and admit things. We also recognize they could assault us, creating liability for police. That's why officers usually won't allow us to approach if told in advance so we call them as soon as the confrontation begins.

Everything does already get given to the police, and we watch these guys go through court very frequently. These videos also don't make much money at all, they're extremely difficult to even get monetized, there's a bunch of people involved, there's expenses such as buying new phones since detectives often keep the devices for a period of time to authenticate evidence. It makes just enough to allow us to keep doing it, a few of us are actually at a financial loss doing this

@cppfam @ItsJordanMosley No one is arguing for silence or hiding predators. That’s a lazy framing. Report them. Charge them. Warn people when there’s a real public safety need. My issue is turning human pathology into monetized humiliation content and pretending that’s the same thing as prevention.

We can disagree & that's fine. We've had quite a lot of real victims of the guys we catch reach out to us & tell us nobody believed them, or that they didn't have the courage to speak out until they saw them in our videos. We've had family members who say they've let these guys look after their child because they trusted them but won't anymore. The alternative you're suggesting of not posting these videos means they get to hide & continue to be around peoples kids since they have no idea that they're a danger to them. A child predator when caught by police, charged & released will maybe be more secretive & dangerous anyway regardless of if we post the videos. It's not our videos that would be causing them to be more secretive, it's the fact they've been caught, even if it was in a police only sting, or a victim themselves coming forward.

Much greater people than you and I are making actual progress, you should study them and seek to help, not hurt

We post these videos because people need to know the faces of these people to keep them away from their kids since we also share them to their communities. These guys also lie to their family & friends to downplay what they actually attempted to do, which gets destroyed when the family, friends & community can actually watch the video & hear everything themselves

@ItsJordanMosley @cppfam Obviously not defending him, but this culture of publicly degrading people who are mentally crippled instead of addressing the root/origin problems is pretty troubling. People like the interviewer are indadvertedly pushing this behavior to the fringes for likes & engagement.

@Benz947 @ItsJordanMosley A defense lawyer could claim that, but the prosecution can also take our device which they often do to prove the authenticity of the messages. It's also extremely rare a pred will take it to trial & fight the evidence

@cppfam @ItsJordanMosley Citizens do not know how to legally preserve digital evidence. A defense lawyer can easily argue that chat logs were edited, faked, or manipulated.

@JamesAiken96183 @ItsJordanMosley We told him we were 14 once he reached out to one of our decoy accounts, we also make quite a few references to school etc... so they are constantly reminded they're talking to a supposed minor.

Unfortunately Colorado didn't sentence him to another long sentence like Iowa did (3 years) & he even made parole which is criminal in of itself since he's a repeat offender even after 25 years in prison, so he's out and as of 2 months ago is living in Illinois. Shame on the CO Judge & Parole board for giving him another chance to be free, the justice system has a real problem with protecting kids.

Appreciate your support, yeah it's really difficult to hear what some of these guys have done to real kids but what keeps us from just beating them up or worse is going home to our family instead of going to jail, & trying to keep a good image for detectives to want to take our cases.

Randy (64) is our 613th catch! He's talking to multiple minors, & tells them that it's their decision if he's too old for them. He taught them about sex, and told them to imagine sex acts being performed on them. He setup a meet with one of them today, showed up to the location, and was being very cautious & paranoid that police were following him
