@gaptoothsupreme it just seems like that’s all they do whenever she gets brought up to the point where it’s overkill it’s constant and gratuitous. it’s always been there and taken to an extreme in s2 only for characters to keep doing it over and over and over. raglan’s comment was not needed.

having a daniel and louis scene together and getting to hear a louis monologue about claudia was just like old times pls take me back!!

i just dont feel like you can build gabrielle’s characterisation and lestats backstory off of quick fire remarks, some of these things are ESSENTIAL to the characters but are given no weight because nothing about the storytelling indicated its importance

@loubuttlover i assumed they were rushing all the earlier backstory to give the wolves some proper space to breathe only for.. that. HOW is anyone who hasnt read the books supposed to understand the weight of that scene? hopefully we will still get lestat getting accused of lying about it

it would make sense for him to put his guilt about the book first but maybe reliving all that pain with encountering bruce will make it more difficult to ignore

louis is very willing to refrain from expressing all of how he feels so i hope that is what is happening rather than him having no kind of resentment or bad feeling towards lestat
