@lady_valor_07 I have many old family heirlooms predating the Civil War. I have some tintypes (one of them hand colored) from around 1860-65. 15 hand-cut leaded glass bowls, vases, jugs, platters, pedestal bowls that were my grandmother's wedding presents. A Chinese platter from the 1880s.

@shkeela1278 Despite being an active alcoholic until I was 39, I never even got pulled over, much less given a DUI. Living in New York City with no car had a lot to do with it, but even when my wife-to-be moved in and had a car, I still never drove drunk. I was a drunk, but not a total idiot.

I live up the street from the stadium & the snow was heavy, but it was 77° here yesterday & the ground is warm. 33° now.

@Matt_Pinner I remember well. And as an adult, I lived in a New Jersey suburb of New York City. In NJ, attendants STILL pump your gas. It's a law.

My daughter laughs at me and says it never happened! Am I the only one who remembers how gas station attendants would not only pump your gas but wash your windshield?
