@listentothewaff watches all the goals Iast night. I am certain there is a huge drop in quality happening due to the 2 game a week barrage. Most goals were off percentage balls, lazy tired defending or just being there finishes.

🇱🇻 @r_jurkovskis13 became the first Dundalk FC player to take part in a World Cup qualifier since 1937 when he started for Latvia in their Group G clash with Montenegro in Riga on Tuesday night.⁣ bit.ly/3vRmJTb

Brian: "You don't see goalkeepers doing a lot of catching in Azerbaijani football. Tommy & Damien: "Don't watch a lot of Azerbaijani football." Brian: "Well I've watched the odd game. They're not catch and kick merchants like the GAA." 😂😂

The old 3-5-2 has worked well for limiting Serbia but now we actually have to show we can attack with it, which hasn't happened so far.

@McDonnellDan Yes one touch football catches every player a yard out of position. I wonder if folk could focus on the brilliance of that goal rather than Travers' positioning.

The execution from Mitrovic is stunning. Most times that goes over and you never talk about the goalkeeper again so that's the brutal margins for Travers

I’m not saying I’d be in favour of this but I do think it would be an interesting watch out of curiosity. It would change the way the game is played, tactics & types of players for sure. No need for pacy wingers / strikers anymore.

@d16dude @betweenstripes They couldn’t play for a pro club as they had no visa . They could sign for an Amature one (Athlone) .

A strange development involving Athlone Town's Dundalk loaneees 👇
LMFM RADIO@LMFMRADIO

SPORT: @AthloneTownFC has confirmed to LMFM Sport @DundalkFC loanees Terique Mohammed and Taner Dogan have returned to Oriel Park prematurely. No reason has been given by the midlands club, while it's understood both players won't be allowed play until the next transfer window.

@aharring @Robbie04467170 @rtenews That sentence is literally the problem. Concessions from both sides will be required. If we are unwilling to do that a UI would be a disaster.
