Hari ini, saya menjenguk langsung para korban kecelakaan antara Kereta Api Argo Bromo Anggrek dan KRL Commuter Line di Stasiun Bekasi Timur. Saya menyampaikan duka cita yang mendalam atas peristiwa ini, khususnya atas adanya korban jiwa. Semoga para korban yang meninggal dunia mendapatkan tempat terbaik di sisi Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan keluarga yang ditinggalkan diberikan kekuatan serta ketabahan. Bagi para korban yang sedang dirawat, semoga segera diberikan kesembuhan dan kekuatan dalam menjalani masa pemulihan. Saya memastikan bahwa pemerintah akan melakukan investigasi secara menyeluruh untuk mengungkap penyebab kecelakaan ini, serta mengambil langkah-langkah yang diperlukan agar kejadian serupa tidak terulang di masa mendatang. "Johoku Elementary School, where we filmed "Monster," is a place that has been incredibly helpful to us.
Actually, it has been decided that the school will be demolished this summer. I owe who I am today to this place, it's where it all began. Feeling sad, I took the express train after school to come and express my gratitude.
The school was quiet, but i could definitely hear the sounds of life.
By this time next year, it might be completely gone without a trace.
Even so, it will continue to live on in someone's heart, within the film itself. That made me incredibly happy and grateful. Thank you, Johoku Elementary School." ~ Soya Kurokawa.
