If your coaches are saying “It’s personal”, then they’re making it about THEMSELVES and not about the team or the program. If you can’t take criticism as a coach/player, without taking it personally, then that says more about YOU than it does about anyone else. #IYKYK

You’d be surprised how many coaches I’ve known that couldn’t put their ego aside for the good of the program. Shunning old players and fellow coaches because they can’t admit they were wrong about their evaluations or decisions in key moments. Sad.
