Dear @daddyfreeze Christianity and Islam are at best superficially related, they are clearly diametrically opposite at core. Worlds apart, in fact. The fact that Muhammad claimed Abraham doesn’t make his claim legitimate. Anyone can claim anyone to make their religion legitimate. Have you ever wondered why Jesus was incorporated into the Quran but Muhammad has no reference in the bible, even in prophetic foresight? If anyone has such a reference, it won’t be as a reference to a true prophet. A religion that came over 500 years after the resurrection of Christ is not same as Christianity na, it’s a poor photocopy at best. Meanwhile let me give you a time line.. 1. God told Eve her seed will bruise the head of the serpent. This was before there was any Abraham at all. 2. He promised same seed to Abraham. 3. That seed is Jesus. Now that seed didn’t even begin with Adam. “according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,” Ephesians 1:4-5 KJV Salvation in Christ is God’s plan from the foundations of the world, before the world began at all, this is true predestination of mankind. So you see, unlike Islam and Muhammad whose religion has no prophetic timeline from eternity, Christianity is witnessed to by tens of prophets who spoke of same saviour through millennia, Prophet Isaiah even said clearly that a Virgin will conceive and His name shall THE MIGHTY GOD. All prophets agree that in Christ is forgiveness of sins. All these facts, Muhammad rejects vehemently, so how can Christianity and Islam be same at core? I accord you the respect before we have sat down to talk before and you pastor people, even if it’s online, kindly keep sound doctrine in perspective while at it. Blessings.
