After a long wait, my story on Malaysia’s film industry will be out soon. The insight story features Malaysian actors like @chewkinwah and @suelanks, director Ho Yuhang, actor/screenwriter @rdzaminhat, “Maryam Pagi Ke Malam” producers @ltf_ha and Badrul Hisyam, writer @shamaineothman and of course, Dato’ Kamil Othman, chairman of @FinasMy. The story looks at the whole film industry in Malaysia and while we take pride of Malaysians (and Malaysian-born) making their strides abroad, our local movie industry will have to change for a better future ahead, amidst challenges on screen in the cinemas and streaming platforms.
