If you have tried building something before you will understand that being asked to build a team and instant gratification is not the same. If you are asked to finish your assignment in 1 hr and being asked to finish the same assignment in 72hrs will be approached differently.

If we qualify for champions league, which manager do you think had a massive impact? *Amorim for bringing Sesko, Cunha, Lammens & Mbeumo & setting standards Or *Carrick for changing the formation & playing players in their preferred position & playing to their abilities?

๐จ๐ฃ๏ธ Ryan Giggs: โAnother sign of a good manager is the team that he LEAVES behind. โRuben Amorim took a lot of stick for the way that he played, I didn't ENJOY watching it. โBut actually I think some of his signings have been GOOD and I think we're now seeing that, so even though his legacy probably isn't great with results and performances. โActually for a long time now, he's probably left the club and the players that he got out. Heโs left the club in a pretty good place.โ #MUFC [@RioMeets]

Fans incapable of understanding those that arenโt too sure of Carrick arenโt unhappy with the results. Theyโre questioning the sustainability of them through the level of performances. Almost as if weโve already had 3 years of this exact situation very, very recently.

That mid block shit Carrick is doing is really rubbish btw

๐จMichael Carrick is giving the players freedom and play where you are best mentality but what about the intensity? Our intensity since he arrived and since that Manchester City game has drastically dropped. You canโt compare the way these players play and the way they played under Ruben Amorim. We need that intensity, we need that pressing. Michael Carrick has no standard and it is why Marcus Rashford would survive under him because heโs always giving that freedom to do whatever you know how to do best and whatever you like. That is not an Elite Coachโs mentality. We need to press aggressively, we need to hold ball and convert changes. Michael Carrick should not be our permanent coach. โผ๏ธ

If you think Kobbie isnโt one of the first names on the team-sheet because he โcanโt runโ then your interpretation of football is skewed by this systemic era. His whole game is mastery > motion, he doesnโt have to run a lot to โ anticipate better than ugarte โ keep the ball better then ugarte โ help the team more than ugarte โ play quicker than ugarte โ shield the ball better than ugarte โ outplay in 1v1s better than ugarte Because heโs not a โrunnerโ heโs learnt to read the game in a different way, which is why heโs a better decision maker and can make well-timed defensive actions even though heโs not a defensively recognised player. Give him to any other coach in this league and he plays football consistently. Give him to any other fanbase and theyโd cherish him. One of the best footballers at the entire club, comfortably, should not be having here-there minutes.
