@ashukla89 Sure, but this isn't any solice. Really just indicates that fewer voted overall and, of the voters, Trump got a bigger share this time. If 1.8 million more voted, they wouldn't have all voted Harris. Reasonable to infer the distribution/share would have stayed about the same.

From me: CA swung right not because more people voted for Trump -- but because 1.8 million fewer people voted for Harris than for Biden. 1/2

Ok @Polymarket, I guess your next big money maker is to set the over under on the number of days before Trump makes an off-handed comment about constitutional terms limits only applying to "consecutive" terms. (Even though they very explicitly apply to any 2 terms)

@benspeicher Good point! Yet another level of ed policy understanding reached by few and I'd also look forward to voting for @benspeicher for...anything! ;) Still, betting several thousand former charter teachers with at least some psers obligations from closed charters. I'm one of them!

@davidblapp That said, how many charters are even in psers anymore these days? It has to be a small number, at least for new employees.

This is a depth of education policy analysis and understanding that is rarely attained by most policymakers. Very much looking forward to voting for @ErinforPA for state treasurer.

Imagine being worth ~$200 billion and still being afraid to endorse a candidate. It must take both spinelessness of Jeff Bezos (a theoretically insolated person) and a general acceptance of fascism if Trump comes to power. Both are infuriating!

Smiling because yesterday Council enacted the Get Out The Bike Lane Bill I introduced alongside @councilmemberkj! This legislation reaffirms that bike lanes are for bikes by prohibiting stopping in bike lanes citywide. When vehicles stop in bike lanes it makes everyone unsafe. And it discourages Philadelphians from using one of the most affordable and sustainable transportation methods. I am immensely grateful to Council President Johnson for his leadership on Vision Zero!
