The 31:59 minute long album contains 14 songs. Originally released in mono only, it was released in stereo later that year. The album peaked at #1 on the UK Albums Chart and stayed in the Top 10 for over a year, a record for a debut album that stood for 50 years. The album, Please Please Me was voted 39th on Rolling Stone's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" in 2012.
