As an OC you have to accept that you will be in the most critiqued position on staff. Everyone thinks they can call plays and that it’s easy. In reality it’s one of the hardest coaching positions in all of sports. But that’s also what makes it one of the most fun positions.

Most people couldn’t tell you where they are on the road without their phone. That’s a problem. Teaching these boys how to use mile markers so they’re never guessing. One day, their wife and kids could depend on it.

The state of HS FB has lost control. It is now just as big of a transfer portal as college football. HS teams will look different every year. Development from youth up... GONE. Sad stuff because HS FB was supposed to be pure, it is not, it's 100% a business now.

I see people say this coach develops kids. There is a huge difference in getting very talented(4/5 star) kids and taking credit for what they do as compared to getting a kid that just works and helping them reach the potential they have. One is development and the other is not

All public school students should have free admission into all athletic events at their respective schools.
