When the cattle board is down but you increase your cash bids on feeders from the week prior, when your cattle lose money, don’t start crying. Sorry but we’re pretty close to sub $3 feeders and sub $2 fats so no I don’t think $5.50 for unweaned 300 lb bulls with 1 round is the greatest business strategy

Putting in some fence line bunks…do I want adjustable neck rail or solid neck rail?….bunks come with just a plain post. So we can weld on either style.

@BarEBfarms @PerformanceBeef Got it to auto add new groups now still doesn’t solve the rations being wrong and the days on ration. When I talked to them last week, they admitted that was wrong and was a problem

@derekpohl @PerformanceBeef Upper right filters then add groups/ lots you want on Yardsheet.

Does anyone else on here use YardSheets on Performance Beef that you create yourself? Made one up for feeding and will not read days on ration or the correct ration. Also won’t include new groups I’ve added. Even on their standard yardsheet it doesn’t work. @PerformanceBeef

We were able to receive some new cattle and move existing cattle into our new feedyard this week. 24’ aprons, Double D bunks, 2 guard rail fence, Johnson waterers, big mounds in every pen, 3-4% slope, 20’ V gates infront of pens and 20’ gates in back corners.

@leereichmuth 3” base and then 1-2” after it’s packed in.

@derekpohl How are you doing your driveways? I did some slag but it’s pretty hard on tires. Some have said to put a tarp down then rock over the top of it?!?! Just curious what’s best way to go about it.
