@greggeorge747@FloppyDeepDive Port one interferes with the keyboard (they share registers, so there are directions tied to keys and whatnot), so if you want to use both a joystick and keyboard it's generally easier to just use port two.
In my 40 years of using the C64, I have never seen this warning that comes with Jumpman. If you have any problems playing Jumpman, you need to warm up your C64 for 2 to 20 minutes. Has anyone ever heard this one before? Since this is my show and tell, I figured I would get Robin’s thoughts. @8BitShowAndTell Was this common with early games?
