That's Ahmedabad for you.
When the traffic signal was red, a chana chor garam (an Indian snack) vendor was passing by where one of the strings broke and all of it fell down on the road.
This felt personal to people around this.
People helped him out to put his stuff back, asked about the damage and contributed to give him ₹2000 instantly.
All of this happened within ~ 130 seconds.
Such stories must be appreciated.
Well done Amdavad..!!

German medical researchers have engineered a novel, injectable hydrogel designed to stimulate the biological regeneration of articular cartilage. This non-surgical approach aims to directly repair joint damage and restore natural cushioning without relying on invasive and costly joint replacement procedures.
Orthopedic experts note that osteoarthritis and cartilage degradation affect hundreds of millions globally, often leading to debilitating pain and limited mobility. By utilizing a bioactive matrix that encourages the body's own stem cells to multiply and differentiate into healthy tissue, this gel could drastically shift treatment paradigms away from artificial implants.
The underlying technology relies on a specialized polymer network that seamlessly mimics the natural extracellular environment of human joints. Once introduced to the affected area, it acts as a supportive structural scaffold, safely dissolving over time as fresh, healthy cartilage takes its place.
Early clinical observations report a significant reduction in chronic joint inflammation and a much faster return to pain-free movement for affected participants. Unlike traditional surgical interventions, which frequently require months of strenuous physical therapy, this minimally invasive procedure could allow for an incredibly rapid recovery window.
While currently advancing through rigorous regulatory testing phases, the successful commercialization of this regenerative therapy could save global healthcare systems billions in surgical and rehabilitation costs. It offers a highly promising future where debilitating joint conditions are managed with a simple outpatient visit, permanently restoring active lifestyles for aging populations and athletes alike.
If this non-surgical treatment becomes widely available, how would the ability to naturally regrow joint cartilage change your approach to staying active?

A delivery boy came to deliver an order at 2 AM. He wanted to use the lift, but there was a notice saying delivery staff are not allowed to use it, and they would be fined ₹100 if caught.
He called the customer and asked if they could come down, but the customer replied, “I don’t care how you come, just bring the order.”
With no other option, the delivery boy had to climb the stairs late at night to complete his job.
Can we not show a little basic respect and kindness to delivery workers?

Ramesh Gupta died in 2019. Heart attack. 54 years old.
He had a ₹50 lakh term insurance policy. Premiums paid without a single default for 11 years.
His wife filed the death claim.
The insurance company said: "We need to investigate."
They investigated for 3 years. Kept asking for documents. She kept submitting. They kept asking for more.
She couldn't pay the home loan EMI. Sold the car. Borrowed from relatives.
In 2022, they finally rejected the claim. Said Ramesh had a pre-existing condition he "didn't disclose."
The condition: slightly high blood pressure. Noted in a routine checkup in 2015.
Never treated. Never medicated.
She went to IRDAI. Then consumer court.
The court said: A condition that was never treated and never affected his health cannot be used to reject a claim 11 years later.
₹50 lakh ordered paid. Plus 9% interest from 2019. Plus ₹1 lakh for mental harassment.
They made a widow wait 3 years. Then rejected her.
A court gave her everything back. With interest.
Save this post. If an insurance claim is rejected citing "non-disclosure" — fight it.
Courts have consistently ruled against insurers using minor, untreated conditions as grounds for rejection.
