I had a turtle light hanging from my badge and one of my pts became so obsessed with it. All day whenever she saw it, it was “that turtle is so cool! And it has a light!!”. I ended up giving it to her when I discharged her (with her promising to behave at home 🤪)

Holy fuck I just had the biggest health scare of my mfing life. Let it be known that I will change my lifestyle after this. Also the algorithm is a piece of shit and lies to you about things it thinks you're diagnosed with.

Local hospital just made a “one blanket per patient” policy in an attempt to “save money on linen” they only want 1 blanket per patient. Instead of making patients freeze and sacrificing patient comfort let’s cut that CEO budget a little
