Several of those teams lost to great teams in the semi’s because that’s how good the section is. Compared to a couple of sections that barely have two good teams in it.

The seeds held across the board in the State Hockey Quarterfinals. With Edina’s 3-1 win over Andover, the better seed won all 8 games across the A and AA brackets. I’ll get the matchups and schedules up later - but we should have one heck of a day on Semifinal Friday tomorrow!

@ChrisLongKSTP No kidding. That’s because MSHSL refuses to seed sections like they should leading to section 2 & 6 usually having 6 of the best teams in the state. While 2 other sections typically have maybe 2 “good” teams in it. Shots for seeds 1-3 today 135-58. Score 12-2. SEED THE SECTIONS!
