If Canada used 100% of its ~170 billion barrel oil reserves, it could generate ~$17 trillion at $100 per barrel, potentially erasing the $1.5 trillion national debt and funding healthcare and housing. Balancing economic gains with environmental and social costs is critical, and the long-term viability of full extraction is uncertain.

Why is Charlottetown the only city that refuses to adapt the model of naming rights? Why can it not be Simmonds Arena at D.P.Murphy centre? Why do city residents want to refuse $250,000 in funding and ensure that on their taxes after completion?…..

How is this a detriment to the community and not a benefit? I played 14 years in Simmonds arena, winning the spud, island championships and experiencing heartbreak. I also have friends that will last a life time from all of it.

WOW!! There goes $250,000 that @ChtownPE will now have to come up with for the building. That means more in exercise equip, maintenance costs and upkeep. The man is trying to give back to his community and support the start of friendships, memories and teamwork.
