Wow. I hope people realize losing Hendrickson, losing the No. 10 pick, and gaining Dexter Lawrence is still a net negative for the Cincinnati defense. Giants could end up drafting Styles and Downs though for Harbaugh's new defense. 5 and 10

Personally, I would rather have an elite Edge rusher and the 10th overall pick rather than an elite nose tackle. Refusing to pay Trey Hendrickson just so that you can pay Dexter Lawrence and lose your first round pick is kind of insane.

@JoeA_NFL @Danklecko9073 It’s bad asset management if you are a team in rebuild. Cincy is going for it so the long term effect of these moves is irrelevant. Stopping the run killed us last year and allowed teams to burn clock on long drives. Dexy is here to create a 2nd and 12.

@_NickWhalen When you type it like that it seems obvious. But if you know football you have to take into account several other factors and with those factors it’s a pretty bold trade but addresses a major need that both #10 and Trey do not. Stopping the run.
