Lastly a Web3 marketer should understand and study different types of audiences and time periods in the crypto space to know what products to market to whom and which group need a particular project and at a particular time.

Knowing this, the marketer should focus more on the educating the public first. Whatever product you put out there must be educational at first so it'll make sense to the users. It should also be self explanatory to avoid confusion. A confused potential user is not a user at all.

In web3 decisions are made by the users. The users value the product or business you are selling to them more than the CEO, dev, or whoever is in charge of that business or product. The users determine how far your business can go or how long the product remains relevant.

Web2 marketing is a one way street. Users see ad campaigns, like the product click the link and buy it if they like. Web3 is much more different. A marketer would have to listen the opinions of the potential users, answer their questions & engage in other interactions with them.

Web3 is the internet built on the foundations of decentralization. Being built on the basis of decentralization will also make transparency a key foundation for users in this space. This is one of the first lessons a Web3 marketer should have at the back of their mind.

A Web3 marketer must first understand that they work with Blockchain organizations. Example: DEX, CEX, dApps, DAOs, etc.
