@JamieGrierson I cannot travel to her because they seem to have lost my passport! I am an Irish and EU citizen and 20 year UK resident and I am now denied my right to travel by the long standing incompetence at UKVI. There should be repercussions and compensation with immediacy.

@JamieGrierson I have contacted MP and MEP and waiting to see what efforts can be made by senior politicians but it may require further publicity for me and all cases.

@JamieGrierson The government or civil service need to hand out proactive compensation and invest in this service. Judicial review and immediate intervention.

@JamieGrierson That UKVI have also given us details of someone else’s refusa together with financial details that allow me to identify the person. I am now worried about my documents and my partners security in her home country. Our wedding is also cancelled.

@JamieGrierson Just read your article with great ire as I have had my fiancé’s visa refused on a non-sensical technicality about her language skills. She has several UKVI approved IELTS from the British Council and has been a postgraduate student in the UK and worked as a telephonist.

@BTCare Stephen thanks for update but I have 9 cancelled orders so far and at each point BT new there was an exchange issue.
