Their “lamb” kebabs were labelled as having 50-70% of lamb but DNA testing has shown they have very little lamb. The contents were often mostly skin, fat, goat, beef trim/offcuts, chicken, mutton, and mechanically reclaimed meat. The company made at least £6m from the fraud and it was just fined £500,000 (plus court costs). So much for the “UK’s No. 1 Halal Doner Kebab Manufacturer”.
