The research was done with the help of Carl and Max who were third year psychology student interns - thanks Carl and Max!

I have a paper now out in Music Perception which separated the tracks (drums, vox etc) in pop song recordings, and then asked participants to rate how attention-grabbing and memorable particular phrases were (1). dx.doi.org/10.1525/mp.202…
