I am delighted to be directing another theatre production next year 🎭 Last night we had our first readthrough of One of Us, a new full length play by brilliant Scarborough writer @sharigledhill We will be performing at Burniston & Cloughton Village Hall on the 11 - 13 June 2026

Bananadrama is looking for a female actor (late 30’s/40’s) for a role in our new full length play ‘One of Us’ to be performed the week commencing 15th June 2026 at Burniston and Cloughton Village Hall. Rehearsals will begin in March next year.

It’s been a stressful few days but Bananadrama smashed it! So proud to receive this new writing award especially as it is given in memory of adjudicator Russell Whiteley who was the first person to give me any credit for writing plays ❤️

Well, I wasn’t in a fit state to go myself but I’m so glad I sent Chris on his way last night. 3 trophies for us! Best actress, Best New writing and runner up. Chris got a nomination for best actor and Duncan for best director! We even got a nomination for best costume!
