We actually did so much for school diversity week & I forgot to post any of it - my favourite was getting students to write kind words of support to LGBTQ students & staff. Can’t wait to make it into a display 💖 @JustLikeUsUK

Finally got some of my year 7s work up on the wall - just one display makes my classroom feel so different

@javachik Yes it does but when it’s meant to be 2013 everyone’s clothes are very late 90s/early 00s but I think I’ve concluded that Susan is stuck in ‘98 which is why everyone in ‘13 still looks like they’re in ‘98

One more day of teaching online & then I can finally get back into the classroom (admittedly for our last day of term but still)

As a geography teacher I of course had to get geography involved in our textiles project so every student got a country & had to create a pillow based on their country - I was very impressed

I’m teaching textiles and I’ve been putting off the practical side, making them throughly research, design, analyse etc but time is running out and I need to get them sewing - I truly don’t know where to start 😬

I’ve watched plenty of 90s films, completed a jigsaw, learnt tiktok dances & read a bit (not as much as I could have) but I am ready to go outside now

Luckily I can go back into school Friday as my isolation ends Thursday, thankful I can at least go in for the last day of term but I really am missing school

A week ago I woke up feeling off & thought I’d take a lateral flow - a week later I’ve fully recovered from covid & going out of my mind stuck in doors

Nothing quite says I’m in need of half term as much as a mid netball game panic attack
