@rippersdelight Why does everyone upload to DDL sites these days and not make torrents? When this inevitably gets taken down it will be inaccessable. Plus it downloads slower.

@OliverJia1014 Gotta disagree with this one. Akihabara still has the highest density of arcades in Japan. There are still lots of cool independent specialty electronics shops and two enormous everything stores. Even with the crowds, it's my favorite place to spend time.

Akihabara is a boring tourist trap that’s a shell of its former self.
Used to be a cool place for geeky stuff and good deals, but it ceased being special once everyone found out about it.
Most of the interesting businesses no longer exist. I’m more disappointed each time I go.

I always had this image that it used to be $1 per credit, but if it’s still $1,

@qwiilxey iidx, at its core, is still a game from 1999 and because that core has basically remained untouched for nearly 27 years, it has a lot of design sensibilities that may be considered repulsive or downright hostile by modern standards

Taoyuan with its international airport 40km from Taipei is now served by HSR, metro, regional and local rail. Yes all continue into Taipei Main however for SYD with what else is to be delivered and currently available, we don't need it
