I started with a CLI chatbot. Today, the same chatbot runs as a FastAPI backend with conversation memory, REST APIs, and 10 passing tests. Not a rewrite. Same provider logic, never touched. Here's what the CLI → API migration actually taught me 🧵

Did anyone actually finish all 42 questions in the Cisco Summer Internship OA? 😭 The time felt way too short for the number of questions. Curious- how many were you able to attempt?

@Riya_geoinv7 I took the Cisco OA back in my 3rd year. I wasn't able to solve all the questions either, but their selection criteria still shortlisted me for the interview and I ended up getting the summer internship!

In any domain What you need with AI Is just learn the principles of the domain to have a Bird point of view No need to go deep Then Connect the domains you learned To create new domains where no one even AI could compete with you AI could help you to find patterns here AI will take all special domains cuz it has good Data about it But can't do this with new domains that came from connect two different domains This will be the Future

Should I learn DSA if I'm aiming for AI engineering?

The real architectural challenge: conversation memory during streaming. Chunks arrive like: "Py" "thon" "is" "awesome" Saving each chunk individually = corrupted history. Fix: accumulate everything into full_reply while streaming, save only the complete response after.

Streaming doesn't make the LLM think faster. It just changes WHEN the client receives data. The perceived speed improvement is entirely psychological — and it's massive. Also: you can't use return for streaming. You need async generators + yield 🔄

FastAPI Day 7 My chatbot now streams responses like ChatGPT - tokens appearing live, not waiting for the full reply. Same /chat endpoint. One new field: stream: bool = False Backward compatible. Zero breaking changes. Here's the hard part nobody mentions 🧵
