@AngelMoonling a lot of these people do not understand what fawning is and that coercion is still rape. and that enthusiastic consent doesnt look like saying no and then having to backtrack to manage the other person’s emotions for your own safety.

So hi, a SA victim here, its pretty normal to try and "normalize" what happened and we tend to lie to ourselves to cope and we fear upsetting our abuser.

@Passi0nfruitz @AngelMoonling and they are clear as day if you are actually caring about the person you’re with, if you dont just care about your own sexual gratification. but these people conveniently ignore the signs of hesitancy and resistance because they can get away with it because “they didnt say no”

@Passi0nfruitz @AngelMoonling absolutely! as a csa survivor, i was literally groomed into having the fawn response specifically bc the way it can be twisted against me. but there are SO many other signs. body language, making any excuse to delay or get out of ‘sex’, “sure”s and “maybe”s and “wait”s.

@AngelMoonling if they say no even once and then try to apologize for not wanting to have sex and trying to justify why for my ego, why would i continue? how do you NOT recognize they feel pressured & coerced? unless, ofc, im ignoring all the ‘no’s and signs out of convenience for myself 🤷🏻♀️
