Six new plays. One urgent conversation. On October 6, The Prince George's County Office of Community Relations joins the nationwide reading of ENOUGH! — a movement of teens using theater to demand change on gun violence.  Every hour in America, a child is shot.

"We do this every day so that you don't have to be me." Manuel Oliver, whose son Joaquin was killed 7 years ago today in the Parkland shooting, is in DC, fronting a one-man play about his son and gun violence.

Breaking: Another mass shooting in America on the 6-year mark of the Parkland tragedy. This time at a high school in Atlanta, Georgia.

Marcus Spears, with some very pointed remarks about the shooting during the Kanas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade: "When I first heard it, you know what I thought, unfortunately, is this is who we are. This is who we are. So, now the ever-revolving cycle is going to start. The news outlets will talk about gun control. They'll have politicians from either side to talk about what needs to be done....And then we'll have a 'prayer's up,' I'm sure that's what's happening right now..."
