I’ve already refuted this dumb dilemma. Quranic Kitab doesn’t mean “book” in the material or physical sense. God never sends down books on pages. God reveals binding guidance called Kitab most often in oral form. When the Quran says no one can change God’s words - Kalimat - this never means the written words of material texts. In my 800 page PhD thesis I argued that the Kalimat Allah in Quranic usage means God’s decrees and irrevocable promises, not the words of a written text.
