Today, we bid farewell to Ann Marr OBE after an 22 amazing years as our CEO. We'd like to say a massive thank you to Ann for her incredible service to our patients, staff and the entire MWL community, and recognise her many fantastic achievements over the years. Ann was the driving force behind building 2 new state-of-the-art hospitals, achieved a coveted ‘outstanding’ rating from the CQC, and the former St Helens and Knowsley Trust was crowned the ‘best in the NHS’ by the Health Service Journal. More recently, Ann was instrumental in creating the organisation we are today, as we embark on a new and exciting future as Team MWL.
