Tarik Skubal did exactly what you think he’d do against the Red Sox. You didn’t do much to help yourself with the lineup you set. Had some great opportunities in the 5th and 6th you wasted. Still annoyed about Contreras not challenging. Lots of other tough lefties coming up in Framber Valdez and Max Fried.
Brayan Bello’s command was an issue again. As we’ve seen, this team goes as far as their pitching does. 0-12 when their starter can’t go 6. 8-0 when they do.
Credit to the bullpen for handling business. Especially Jovani Moran, who continues to give you real length whenever his number gets called. Gotta rebound with a strong Crochet day tomorrow.
