@estrellat__ @Quebecnational I can understand the frustration some Catalans feel with the rest of Spain, I have family there who were pro-independence during the procés. But in the end I think it's just a stupid rivalry to see who comes out on top, that's all.

@dasmtr___ @Quebecnational I think, given the lack of regard Spain has for its own laws and compromises (with Catalonia, but with everything else they deem necessary), I think independence is the best for Catalonia. No other arrangement would be upholded by Spain in the long run.

@dasmtr___ @Quebecnational Of course, all descendants of ethnic catalans would be ethnic catalans themselves. My criteria are quite similar to the ones used by other european democracies to give nationality. Rufian would be a catalan against indepencence I guess….

@dasmtr___ @Quebecnational The only result that would count would be a referendum. Not some kind of poll issued by god-knows-who. And in such referendum, only ethnic catalans should be allowed to vote. No way allowing millions of immigrants to vote even if they have spanish citizenship.
