The NBA and teams like the @chicagobulls won’t pause to officially recognize Holy Week or Resurrection Sunday the days marking Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection for the sins of the world. Yet they proudly celebrate an entire month dedicated to what Scripture calls unrighteousness, with 21+ teams hosting Pride Nights this season alone. That selective reverence speaks volumes about the league’s priorities. I stand with Jaden Ivey. Jesus warned: ‘Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.’ -Matthew 10:32-33

Dear @chicagobulls, I am a lifelong fanatical Bulls fan. Been to many games, bought your merch, and supported loyally through ups and downs. Until today. My greatest loyalty is, as is Jaden's, to Jesus Christ and truth. And I am grateful to live in a nation that protects freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Your violation of the first amendment--and, even more problematically, your ideologically selective while culturally amenable cancelling of a man who did nothing more than hold to his convictions--is a tragic capitulation to the spirit of the age. I urge you to do the right thing and publicly apologize to Jaden, acknowledging the error of censoring a man for believing what Scripture says and what Jesus taught. You can’t make it up. NBA player Jaden Ivey went on instagram and basically called the LGBT community sinful and was released. Miles Bridges beat his wife in front of his kids, and Josh Giddey had sex with a minor, and they are still starting on NBA teams. Explain this to me.
