Zug as the next Dubai? I've lived in both and I can't understand this article.
If you want to incorporate in Zug, it works well. And if you want to Swissmax, living in Lucerne with a company in Zug, 20 minutes away, is a great combo.
But Dubai vs Zug is not comparable. It's like comparing a sports car to an SUV. Zug's winter is serious and the Swiss lifestyle is the opposite of Dubai's.
I'd live in Switzerland again and I'll soon write a post about Swissmaxing. Swiss stability is unmatched. But this comparison surprises me.
If you're leaving Dubai and want something closer to that energy: Singapore and Hong Kong are the obvious moves (yet with major differences). Thailand can be surprisingly similar, especially for shorter stays. In Europe: Italy's flat tax, or Malta/Cyprus non-dom work well.
Do you actually know someone who moved from Dubai to Zug? Where are your friends moving from Dubai? Are they?
