@flyshyva i felt this really grueling transgender pain i was denying for almost a decade after watching it. it was like a spotlight was suddenly pointed at the ugliest and most vulnerable part of myself after years of not looking at it. it caused really painful but necessary introspection

having this realization in the theatre was a wild experience i went into the movie hating jax and i left the movie uncomfortable with how much i related to jax in some ways, i feel like i’m still stuck there i really need more trans friends dude :,)

I don’t care about transphobes in the TADC fandom because at the end of the day this story wasn’t made for them, it’s a personal story deeply rooted within the trans experience and if you refuse to see that it’s not my problem. I will enjoy it regardless.
